Privacy Policy

Mneme HQ is an open-source developer tool. We keep data collection minimal and explain below exactly what third parties receive.

Last updated: 7 August 2026

What we collect

When you visit mnemehq.com, we collect standard analytics data via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics:

  • Pages visited and time on page
  • Referring URL and general geographic region (country/city level)
  • Browser type and device category

We do not collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information unless you contact us directly.

What we do not collect

  • No account registration or login — Mneme HQ has no user accounts
  • No payment or billing information
  • No content from your codebase, decision files, or .Mneme HQ/ directory
  • No telemetry from the Mneme HQ CLI unless you explicitly opt in (currently not implemented)

Third-party services

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) for usage analytics; these set analytics cookies. We use no other third-party tracking services.

We previously used a visitor-identification service (RB2B, operated by GetEmails, LLC) which, with consent, associated visits from some US-based visitors with company and professional contact details. That service was removed on 7 August 2026 and is no longer loaded on any page. Any cookies it set previously may still need clearing through that provider or your browser.

Cookies and changing your choices

Analytics cookies are set by default. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings.

US state privacy rights

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act or comparable US state privacy laws. To exercise any privacy right, email [email protected] with "Your Privacy Choices" in the subject.

International transfers

Google Analytics may process data in the United States. Where we transfer personal data outside the UK/EEA we rely on the provider's standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Contact and email

If you email us at [email protected], we will use your email address only to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without explicit consent.

Data retention

Anonymous analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics (the platform default). Direct email correspondence is retained for as long as it is relevant to the conversation.

Your rights

You can request deletion of any data we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. For anonymous analytics data, we have no way to identify you in the dataset.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
